OpsRoom

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026. This policy describes how OpsRoom(“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and developer services.

Who we are

OpsRoom provides a software development kit (SDK) and web dashboard that help iOS developers manage app lifecycle features such as forced upgrades, maintenance mode, and in-app messaging. If you have questions, contact us at the address published on our website.

Two audiences

Information we collect

Dashboard accounts

When you sign in (via our authentication provider), we receive your account identifier, email address, and profile information you choose to share. We use this to operate your account and provide support.

Developer configuration

You may store app metadata (bundle ID, App Store ID, upgrade copy, feature flags) in our systems. You are responsible for ensuring this content is lawful and accurate.

SDK and config API

When an app using our SDK requests configuration, we process technical parameters such as app version, OS version, SDK version, bundle ID, and optional locale. We use API keys to authenticate requests. We do not intentionally collect end-user names, emails, advertising IDs, or precise location from the SDK. Our product specification prohibits logging API keys or client IP addresses in application logs where feasible.

Website and hosting

Our hosting providers may process standard server logs (e.g. request time, user agent) for security and reliability. We minimize retention of such logs.

How we use information

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we rely on contract performance (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required (e.g. marketing emails if offered).

Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us operate OpsRoom, including:

We do not sell end-user personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Developers as controllers

If you use OpsRoom features that collect responses from your users (for example, surveys), you are the data controller for that content. You must provide your own privacy notice to end users and honor applicable data subject rights.

Retention

We retain account and configuration data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, scoped API keys, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you as a dashboard user. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

OpsRoom is not directed at children under 13. Developers must not use the service to collect children's data in violation of applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
